On June 1, Train X9586, a rail-sea intermodal freight train loaded with Brazilian lubricants, Hainan coconut water and mineral water, and other goods, departed from Qinzhougangdong Station in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, heading for Chengxiang Station in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province. In the first five months this year, the rail-sea intermodal freight trains have delivered 350,000 TEU of goods through the New International Land-Sea Corridor, a year-on-year growth of 12%.   
  
   Daily necessities sold by cross-border e-commerce, produced in Chongqing, would be transported to Qinzhou Harbor in Guangxi by the New International Land-Sea Corridor trains, then to Kolkata, India by sea, and finally to Bhutan; rubber tires produced in Shaanxi Province have been dispatched by the New International Land-Sea Corridor trains via Qinzhou Harbor and finally sold to places including Jakarta, Indonesia. To date, the category of goods transported by the New International Land-Sea Corridor trains has exceeded 900 kinds.

   The New International Land-Sea Corridor rail-sea intermodal transport expanded from one route at the very beginning of its operation to routes radiating 17 domestic provinces and reaching 393 ports in 119 countries and regions. It has grown more and more convenient, allowing countries and regions along the route of the Belt and Road Initiative to share the dividend of development. This year, the New International Land-Sea Corridor rail-sea intermodal transport further raised its capacity that the freight volume exceeded 300,000 TEU in 131 days, 15 days earlier than last year.   

  Grasped the recovery of the grain market, CR-Nanning paid marketing visits to ports, railway special lines, and enterprises around to dispatch trains under its control, combined with an inter-connective pattern of the port, local products, and the port city. CR-Nanning developed new projects like Pingba and Nanning South Grain Project with enhanced cooperation among the railway, port, and enterprises and pricing policy, conducted daily monitoring, weekly analyses, and monthly summaries on the source of goods on the trains, filled bulk goods suitable for containers in containers for transport, timely optimized and adjusted freight rates, items arrival, product names, and so on, according to the needs of enterprises to dispatch goods. The volume of goods including silica sand from coastal areas and tiles from Guangdong Province was thus raised.   

  To meet the climbing transport demand, CR-Nanning also collaborated with CR Intermodal to stagger the operation of trains and automobiles to improve the efficiency of container operations, optimized the repair and maintenance operations and transport organization of coastal railways in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to further improve the efficiency of railway transport.
