On November 17, the “China-Laos-Thailand” round-trip rail transportation freight trains departed from Chengdu Chengxiang Railway Station, heading towards Thailand, while a freight train loaded with high-quality Thai products departed from Thailand, bound for Chengdu Chengxiang Railway Station. This marks the achievement of a two-way operation for the “China-Laos-Thailand” round-trip rail transportation freight trains, establishing a secure, efficient, and stable international logistics corridor between the southwestern region of China and Thailand.

　　This “China-Laos-Thailand” round-trip rail transportation freight train was jointly developed by CR-Chengdu, Chengdu International Railway Services Co., Ltd., and China Railway International Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd. Following the “Thailand-Laos-Chengdu-Europe Express,” this is another high-quality railway product. This train optimizes transportation organization, reducing the running time of the freight train from Vientiane, Laos, to Chengdu to within 3 days, and from Thailand to Chengdu within 5 days.
